HatchOne is constantly reviewing products, and when we recently purchased a Dyson HP07 Air Purifier, we knew we had to write a review.
The HP07 is an exceptional product — from the unboxing experience, to the app download, to the setting up and running.
Unboxing
The HP07 Purifier was shipped in its original product packaging. No extra box for protection, and one piece of packing tape holding it together. Once opened, the product presents itself with key components visible for clear assembly. All internal support packaging was clever recyclable paper holding every part intact.
App Download and Use
The HP07 Dyson app downloaded in seconds, and immediately draws you in to set and run. The Air Purifier was up and running in a matter of minutes after setup.
The Dyson App allows for hourly tracking of air purification and stores days for reference. However, the best feature is the “Auto” setting, which will keep your room purified automatically.
Setting Up and Running
Top notch product development, from a user-based perspective and clear illustrations, graphic design and copy allowed product setup within minutes.
This included:
- Completing the app setup
- Installing the supplied air filter
- Powering on
Not only was the overall user experience crazy-good, the engineering design details were clean and perfectly functional (perfect snap loads) with an impeccable finish (no visible parting lines, clean reveal lines).
In ‘Auto’ mode the HP70 Purifier took about 24 hours to clear the air…all at a church-like level of quiet! I am so impressed with this product design that I am looking into what Dyson product we should purchase next. There is at least one vote for the award-winning Dyson Supersonic™ hair dryer.
